フィンランドで生まれた北欧を代表するキャラクター「ムーミン」。
当社はムーミン食器の生産を1998年から始めました。以来、今日まで様々なムーミン食器の生産を行ってきましたが、これらの製品のほとんどは、原作の世界観を表現するために主に洋食器での展開でした。
生産を重ねるにつれて、ムーミンが日本で長年親しまれていることをより実感し、もっと日本のメーカーならではのムーミン食器が出来ないかと考えた事が「ムーミン700シリーズ」の開発のきっかけになりました。
和洋折衷、無国籍。和・洋・中はいわずもがな、世界中のエスニック料理が、ご飯のおかずとして当たり前に並ぶのが日本の家庭の食卓です。そんな実際の食卓に寄り添う食器が作れないだろうか。私たちはどんな料理でも乗せられ、お箸でもカトラリーでも使いやすく、収納もしやすいカタチを、一から考えなおしました。そうして生まれたのが、７００シリーズのカタチです。
製品の素材には、当社のオリジナル素材ブランドCeCera(セセラ)を採用しました。CeCeraは日本製ならではのクオリティを追求し、原材料にも製法にもとことんこだわりぬいた自信の製品です。さらに絵付けにはイングレーズ製法を採用し、高い質感と耐久性をもたせました。
グラフィックデザインは、数多くのファッションブランドやセレクトショップをクライアントに持つ日本のクリエイティブグループ、BobFoundationに依頼しました。彼らは７００シリーズに込めた当社の考えをじっくりと聞き出し、ディスカッションを重ね、さらに工場に足を運び製造工程まで理解した上で取り組んでくれました。そうして出来上がったデザインは、従来のどんなムーミン食器にも似ていない、そして「和洋折衷・無国籍」というコンセプトを見事に表現したものになったと思います。

Introduction
Moomin is born in Finland and representing character in Nordic. We have produced Moomin’s design tableware since 1998 and made various type of products, but most of them were western style tableware. One day, we noticed that Moomin is loved so much in Japan long time, and we thought we would like to produce Moomin’s tableware for Moomin’s fan with our Japanese identity.
In Japanese dining, there are not only Japanese food but also Western, Chinese, and a lot of ethnic foods. To get close to such dining, we reconsidered the shapes of dishware, which are matching for any style of meals, friendly to use with cutlery and chopsticks, easy for putting in storage. As a result, shapes of 700 series were born.
These product’s material are our original brand “CeCera”. Concept of CeCera is high quality with Japanese identity, using selected clays and particular about manufacturing method. In addition, printing method is in-glaze. We made 700 series high texture and durability. Graphic is designed by “Bob Foundation”. Bob Foundation is Japanese creative group who has many clients of fashion brands. We discussed a lot about this project, they saw our factory and understood our manufacturing process. After that, they designed 700 series graphics. As a result, we produced new style Moomin’s tableware and express ed our concept completely
